More Than Games pic return to home.

Aug2019....I have now seen the articles for using a Arduino Uno(etc) to power the Sdrive idea...includes a display!! Nice. Could be made to handle Apple, C64, ST, standard floppies. etc. as well :) I see little need to continue wth the original basic version, though may still work on a micro version.
30Sep2019:SDRIVE:So, I have been busy with work(ugh) and life stuff, so I have not have much time for Atari(trying to get a permanent desk setup again (big sigh!!)). I had some troubles with my Sdrive. I could read images, but not write data to them. I checked everything I could, but nothing seemed wrong. So I made a new main PCB to move my parts. I will get this done one day.
So, what I want to know is how are the Sdrives I made that you bought? Having issues? Working o.k? I am working on a solution for you to repair the ones that stopped working. Considering the advances in raspberry pi versions, I will not make any more of this one at this time without specifc requests.

One possibility is the 3.3 volt reg. It is only a 100ma device, and I see that some older/cheaper SD cards can actually need more than that. I also see the caps on either side are not the mfr recommended, so I will change mine out and see.

S-Video B.O.B.
A/V BOB is an Audio/Video breakout box for the Atari 8 bit & Jaguar systems. They feature phono connectors for composite video, chroma, luminance, and audio. They also have a popular S-Video jack providing chroma and luminance.

A/V Cable uses standard phono plugs for audio, and an s-video plug for modern display video. It also has a jack to connect composite out to TV or vcr as needed. These outputs will provide a superior picture and sound over using the RF jack on the back of the console. Available in 6 foot and 12 foot lengths.

OTHER INFO

As of now(Oct2020)...I am working on setting my A8 up again. I have projects for it I am wanting to work on. Other projects...I am continuing to make Xmas trees..3dwire from NV mag, and the Poster Tree RGB(using a Pro Trinket). I am revising my AV/X10 MUX using a Raspberry Pi0. I will then decide if I wish to make any available. Most of my work will be on new platforms. I did find chat again using mIRC on channel ##atari. Maybe I will attend a Classic Computer/gaming show and see you there!

Note: This is now only a HOBBY! Orders will take longer. I now look at email and paypal when I have time(Paypal is supposed to text me when I get an order, we will see.). This could be weeks apart. I have a real life and real job(especially busy during holidays & Elections). Everything takes longer to get shipped. If I have to order parts or make something, then a long time.

I finally got 50 tube cases for the A8 and Jag AV BOBS by making a template for my router, 3 versions. The tubes have to have a little shaping, then sanding, then painting. And Now I have to make the phono strip..the Philmore ones are no longer available, the Jameco ones, made by Veleman, are thinner-the contacts bend and touch, so they will take more work!
Jan2015 I though I'd have to make the phono jack boards by hand, but I have found a source for better ones. They are also more expensive.

I simply don't have the time or desire to engage in email chasing or debates on the process. If you don't like it, don't order(come to a show instead).
If you file a paypal dispute, order gets cancelled/refunded when I get to it.
