S-Video B.O.B.
A/V BOB is an Audio/Video breakout box for the Atari 8 bit & Jaguar systems. They feature phono connectors for composite video, chroma, luminance, and audio. They also have a popular S-Video jack providing chroma and luminance.

A/V Cable uses standard phono plugs for audio, and an s-video plug for modern display video. It also has a jack to connect composite out to TV or vcr as needed. These outputs will provide a superior picture and sound over using the RF jack on the back of the console. Available in 6 foot and 12 foot lengths.

A8 850 Adapters
Atari 850 interface Adapters makes cabling this product easy. Adapts the unique wiring of these ports to industry standard 9 and 25 pin connectors. Serial Port 1 is used for modems and null modem transfers. These adapters are 9 pin to 9 pin or 9 pin to 25 pin. Parallel Port is used for printers. This adaptor is 15 pin to 25 pin.

ATR-8000 interface Adapters is a great interface from SWP. Printers, modems, disk drives to 1 meg, printer buffer, CP/M, even pc DOS(with board)! But, the back connectors are a pain. While the floppy is fine, the Printer and Modem should have been standard DB connectors almost everyone else uses. These adapters fix that problem. No more making your own cables. Just plug these in and strap down. Use standard cables from then on.

Gamelink is a simple network for connecting atari 8 bit computers together to play games. The original Gamelink I was for two computers, with several modem based games adapted for it. Gamelink II, from the AGDA Group, lets multiple computers connect and play. Maze of Agdagon is a great kill the balloon type game for up to 8 computers. Other simple games may allow up to 16. One disk drive on the master is required for this system.

A8 Memory Upgrades
130XE Memory Upgrade T2:The 130XE was a next generation 8 bit computer for Atari. It had 128K of ram, though the CPU could still only address 64K. But there were control bits for memory and video access. The upper 64K was for a ramdisk, but can be used for anything. With extra bank bits available, the upgrade replaces the 64K with 256K for a bigger ramdisk or using OSS BASIC XE. This upgrade requires removing chips from the mainboard, and soldering in sockets and wires. The kit version also requires soldering to assemble. A PCB is available for experimenting.

600XLE Memory Upgrade:The 600XL was a middle generation 8 bit computer for Atari. It had 16K of ram, probably due to being marketed towards a gaming computer-using the cartridges of its bigger siblings. This upgrade requires removing both of the 16K chips from the mainboard, and soldering in sockets and wires. Instructions included.

Note: This is now only a HOBBY! Orders will take longer. I now look at email and paypal when I have time. This could be weeks apart. I have a real life and real job(especially busy during holidays & Elections). Everything takes longer to get shipped. If I have to order parts or make something, then a long time.

I finally got 50 tube cases for the A8 and Jag AV BOBS by making a template for my router, 3 versions. The tubes have to have a little shaping, then sanding, then painting. And Now I have to make the phono strip..the Philmore ones are no longer available, the Jameco ones are to thin to be useful-the contacts bend and touch!
Jan2015 I though I'd have to make the phono jack boards by hand, but I have found a source for better ones. They are also more expensive.

I simply don't have the time or desire to engage in email chasing or debates on the process. If you don't like it, don't order(come to a show instead).
If you file a paypal dispute, order gets cancelled/refunded when I get to it.

Jaguar RGB Adapter:(01jan2013)I have a prototype ready, but only tested with ST color Monitor. It works great. But until I can get an RGB monitor, it is on hold.(feb2014)I think I now have one to test.
